Long Live Villains shines a neon light on the dystopian values at the Black Heart of Trump's White House. This satirical portrait series imagines iconic animated villains reframed as reprehensible Republicans stumping for Trump, the arch-villain. By distilling the methods and motivations unique to each iconic villain into a tenet of modern right-wing moral bankruptcy, it's easy to make immediate connections to the multitude of vile acts and villainous ideals perpetrated and perpetuated by the Party of Trump.
Inspired by psychedelic black-light posters, spooky theme park rides, exciting attraction posters and classical agitation propaganda--these day-glo portraits are intended to immerse the viewer in a Dismal-land dark-ride atmosphere where heroes are nowhere to be found, and all hope has gone to hell as garish ghouls and shameless shills grin from beyond the pale, delighting in championing their destructive dogma.
